Wolverine and Deadpool 3 First Comics Together in the Marvel Universe
Deadpool and Wolverine initially crossed paths in 1994’s Wolverine #88, according to the canonical Marvel Comics universe. In that issue, Deadpool destroyed a flat when he was unable to win his girlfriend back from Garrison Kane, her new partner. Since Kane was Wolverine’s friend, this included Wolverine in the story.
Wade and Logan exchanged verbal barbs until Wade used his two swords to really stab Logan in the chest. In the comics, the X-gene was absent from birth. However, in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Deadpool and Logan were enlisted into William Stryker’s mercenary Team X, where they ultimately served as test subjects for the Weapon X program. By combining the DNA of many mutants into his body, Stryker became an unstoppable “mutant killer.” However, he had his lips stitched shut, leaving the well-known talker oddly silent. To put it mildly, the fans detested it.
In their fight on Three Mile Island, Wolverine lost against Logan. Nevertheless, it was eventually shown that Deadpool’s severed head was still alive, and he gave the camera a wink. Fortunately, X-Men: Days of Future Past effectively reset the timeline of the X-Men cinematic world, enabling Deadpool (2016), a Marvel movie, to more closely follow the comic book adaptation.
